Smart Cal — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Smart Cal app and related services ("Smart Cal", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

Smart Cal helps you log meals and track calories and nutrition, including through photo, voice, text, and WhatsApp logging, and provides AI-generated estimates and coaching. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Not medical advice

Smart Cal is for general wellness and informational purposes only. Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. Smart Cal is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or health advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.

Subscriptions & auto-renewal

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

Account termination & deletion

You may delete your account and data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on estimates the app provides.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
